EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the Office of the Director General through the execution of operational and strategic activities and maintaining an efficient system for ensuring the achievement of key deliverables. He/she is also responsible for providing support at the governance level through the recording and production of minutes of meetings and maintaining the security and confidentiality of information pertaining to the Authority.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualifications
- Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) designation
- Five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
KEY TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Sound knowledge of standard office procedures and practices
- Sound knowledge of administrative concepts, principles and practices
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications
- Excellent minute-taking and speedwriting skills
KEY NON-TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of the Authority’s operations, products and services
- Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
